The 403(b)/457(b) Retirement Plan is a defined contribution retirement plan. You and the university make regularly scheduled contributions to an account set up in your name.

You can invest the money in your Retirement Plan by choosing funds available through both of the university’s retirement plan recordkeepers/vendors, TIAA and Fidelity Investments.
